Dear Heavenly Father and Most High God
If there was any one that deserved to be a star, it was your son, my saviour Jesus Christ. Yet, he did not seek such. His mind was focussed on being a Servant Leader. His intent was on doing His father's bidding and nothing less. Dear Lord, Please send forth your Holy Spirit to our Pastors as it seems that there is this yearning now to be reverred and treated like a star.
They now all seem to want to be served rather than be the servant. They seek followers but they themselves have ceased to follow you. They pander to the whims of men and do only that which please or attract their followership regardless of it not being particularly your will. They water down their messages to be so inclusive that it ceases to be the adulterated word of God. In short, Lord, our christian leaders have become so in tune with what the world needs, that they have become the world.
Father I am not in away talking against those you have put in authority over your flock. And I know for sure that it is not ALL the pastors in this time that I describe to you. I am just calling on you to touch your Shepherds and draw them back to their first love. Help them to remember why they got into this ministry in the first place. Let them remember that this work they are doing is all about you Lord.
Please please open up their hearts so that they can self examine and check that they are still in YOUR WILL.
Lord, pour out your fresh anointing on them all in Jesus Christ's name I pray. Amen!
