Dear Lord and Faithful God
I am so happy! It is Friday and I am on my way home.
It has been a good week.
Lord I thank you.
You sustained me each night and woke me up to go to work.
Lord I thank you
You brought us out each day and took us home safe each night.
Lord I thank you.
Lord you gave us the power to do the work and the intelligence to excel
Lord I thank you
Lord you have brought us help in the form of a good nanny and loyal drivers
Lord I thank you.
Lord you have given u good jobs that pay well in these hard times
You have caused us to find favour with our bosses and shine in all we do
Lord I thank you
Father I could never thank you enough but I will keep on trying
Even as I go home now to rest, I go thanking you. Knowing that you are ready and able to do it all over again in the week to come. Praise the Lord!!!!!!!!
To you be all the glory and honour

Not Unto Me! But To Your name be the Praise!
My Lord and My God
This is just a prayer of Praise
I do not know what Pastor's wife chose me for this task
But I thank you cos It must have been you.
You know my heart and you know my passions
I thank you and praise your name.
All I ask Lord is that you take away any 'ITKism' that may be in me.
Lord, take away any pride in me or any other thing that would make me
do that which You have not sent me.
Let me just speak only as You direct
Let the words that I speak to these couples.
Let my counsel
Let my advice
Let it all come from you. Let it all flow from your own wisdom.
Remind me daily that I am nothing and that all that I have and all that I know comes from you
Keep me on the straight and narrow.
And help me remember also that I can do nothing to change these people. I do not have that kind of power. All I can do is pray that the seed that I am planting into these lives, that you O Lord, will water them and cause them to bear fruit in the lives of these couples and even in mine.
It is in Jesus Christ's name that I ask you for all of this Lord. And I am confident that you have heard and will answer.

Father today, I am calling on you in the name of your son my saviour Jesus Christ. He is the one that told me in Your word that whatever I ask of you in His name, you will grant to me. Lord, I trust you and I know that you will not forsake me. It is about you son. He is going for a Finalist shortlist weekend on Saturday. Lord, help him to excel. Let your hand of favour be upon him through the weekend. Just as your Spirit of Excellence rested upon Daniel and he was found to be 10 times better than all the students in that nation, so let my son, your son stand way above all the other candidates in all the ways that matter most.
Father, your son was made for sings and wonders. Let it be evident to all the panellists in Jesus Christ's name. Amen!
Father, your word says that he will be head only and never tails. Let it be so throughout this weekend in Jesus Name. Amen!
Lord, send forth your Spirit to help him remember what he wants to say. Let it give him the confidence to face all the questions and even when he does not know the answer, let him not be ruffled. Give him the presence of mind to handle the situation and come back strong.
Father, You are a God that never fails and as your child, He will not fail in Jesus Christ name. Amen!
I thank you Lord for hearing me as you always do! I know that I will give this testimony to the glory of your name in the presence of your people!

Father, I need You!
Lord! My Father and My God
I need you more than ever! Please never leave my side.
Last night, or is it this morning, I did not wake up to meet with me and it pained me
I need more grace. Grace to do the right things at the right time.
Thank you for not allowing me to feel too bad. Thank you for being so patient and so loving.
You more or less told me, it was OK and that I should try harder tomorrow.
Imagine, as if meeting you was for your own benefit. I am the one that needs YOU!
Father, take up permanent residence in my heart.
Make it your home for ever. So that You can continue to guide my every step. My every action.
I do not want to be a wishy washy christian any longer. You now I have told you this before. It is either your way or now way. Help me!
I need you Lord. I really do. I need you to increase in me. I need you to help me decrease.
I need you to help me make my motives pure. I need you to help me be more like you every day.
Dear Lord, Jehovah El Shaddai. You are the all sufficient One. You need nothing as everything belongs to you. Please help me, your child. I just know that I need You.

My Focus
Dear God, O Most High and Loving Father
I pray today for my focus
Lord, you spoke to me early this morning and it has been on my mind on and off all day since
You said, focus on the inward beauty. That is what I look at.
Lord, I need your grace to remember this and then to do it.
Indeed, I tend to spend so much time (not a lot but more than I spend with you) on stuff that have to do with the 'external'. Father I do not want to do that anymore. I want you to take the first place in my life.
I want you to be number 1 and I want this to be clear by the way I order my daily affairs. I ask for Grace from you O Lord. Help me. It is only you that can help me with this.
I am trusting you and counting on you to touch me, touch my heart and touch my soul.
Let me see that nothing is more important that spending time in your presence and learning at your feet.
In Jesus Christ's name, I pray. Amen!

Dear Heavenly Father
If it is true that you made a special set of Angels and called them mothers, then Lord this prayer is for all your wingless angels round the world.

More grace today - so that we can stand up and do what we need to to do all they need to do
More unconditional love - so that we can love like you love
More patience - so we can suffer long like you do
And dear Lord, while I know there is no real salary for us moms, I ask you in Jesus Christ's name to grant us all long life so we can see these children grow up and raise families of their own.
That would payment enough for us.

Dear Heavenly Father and Creator of the Insititution of Marriage
Lord my simple request today is that your raise a standard against the enemy and
the work he is wrecking in our homes. He is on the rampage against marriages. Lord, as the mountains surround Jerusalem, surround my home, the homes of my family and friends. In Jesus Christ's name. Amen!
Dear Lord, it is your son's name that I pray that the earth will open up its mouth and swallow up all the plans of the enemy as it concerns the relationships between husbands and wives. Lord , what you have put together, let no man, no woman put asunder In Jesus Christ's name. Amen!
Let us wives, help us to submit to our husbands
Let our husbands, help them to love us wives as Christ loved the Church.
Help us all to love one another as children of a God who is the very personification of Love.

Save our Christian Leaders from Celebrityism!
Dear Heavenly Father and Most High God
If there was any one that deserved to be a star, it was your son, my saviour Jesus Christ. Yet, he did not seek such. His mind was focussed on being a Servant Leader. His intent was on doing His father's bidding and nothing less. Dear Lord, Please send forth your Holy Spirit to our Pastors as it seems that there is this yearning now to be reverred and treated like a star.
They now all seem to want to be served rather than be the servant. They seek followers but they themselves have ceased to follow you. They pander to the whims of men and do only that which please or attract their followership regardless of it not being particularly your will. They water down their messages to be so inclusive that it ceases to be the adulterated word of God. In short, Lord, our christian leaders have become so in tune with what the world needs, that they have become the world.
Father I am not in away talking against those you have put in authority over your flock. And I know for sure that it is not ALL the pastors in this time that I describe to you. I am just calling on you to touch your Shepherds and draw them back to their first love. Help them to remember why they got into this ministry in the first place. Let them remember that this work they are doing is all about you Lord.
Please please open up their hearts so that they can self examine and check that they are still in YOUR WILL.
Lord, pour out your fresh anointing on them all in Jesus Christ's name I pray. Amen!

For My Coworkers
Dear Heavenly Father and The best boss in the world
I thank you today for all the people I work with. My bosses, my supervisor, my colleagues.
I thank you that you have provided them with a source of livelihood
I thank you that you have kept them alive to this point. Taking them to and from work every day.
I thank you for their families; their wives, children, parents, siblings.
Lord to you be all the glory for showing yourself strong on their behalves
Accept my thanks in Jesus Name. Amen!
In spite of all that is going on in the economy, help people to set their mind on those things that please you. Those things that are above and not on the matter of this earth. Help them to realise that you are the Lord of All the earth and that you control all the affairs of men. Let them remember that you are the God that provides harvest in the time of famine. You are the God that can call something out of nothing. If we set our minds on you, we will not be ashamed. Lord, cause a hunger to rise up in my co workers for you.
To be able to wake up and come to work is not as easy as some think. God, it takes you to build in that sense of responsibility into your children. Lord, continue to do so in Jesus Christ's name.
Lord prosper the works of the hands of your children.
Lord help all the people I work with so that they can excel. Let them always be ahead and not beneath. In Jesus Christ's name. Amen!
Let them all be safe in the work place. In the office and in the other locations. Help us all to really display emotional intelligence when it is required. Help all my co workers to love their neighbours as they love themselves. Help people to see that this job is not the end all and be all of their existence. Yes it is important but work should not be the number 1 priority in a person's life. Help all the people I work with O Lord that they may have work life balance in Jesus Christ's name. Amen! Let your Holy Spirit be their helper always.
Father as I end this prayer I thank you and I praise you for you have given us all the power to make wealth. Lord from the gains we make in the work place. As we go about our daily duties, help me and my co workers to remember that you are our number one employer. That we are your co-labourers. Our work place is our field and that you expect that we will do you work - win souls - even as we go about our work. Help us Lord to do this. In Jesus Christ's name I pray. Amen.

Prayer for TV and Cable Stations
Father in Heaven, Creator of All
Father I lift up all the different TV and Cable Stations we have in Nigeria and even abroad. You are able to turn the hearts of men anyway you choose. Lord, please touch the hearts of the powers that be in these places for the good of Christian children. Raise up godly people in the right positions who can help influence the diet of programmes being produced today. People who will take a stand and even prevent certain shows from being aired that are re-enforicing negative behaviours in our children.
On cable and on regular TV we need more programmes suitable for our children Lord! I know there is nothing impossible for you. Raise up people with gifted minds who can come up with creative ideas for TV and Cable programmes that will glorify your name. There is such an imbalance right now. And I am calling on you to please step in and take control for the good of our children.
And Lord, I too release myself. Use me in anyway you see fit towards this goal.
In Jesus Christ’s name, I have prayed.
Protect Your Son From Negative TV Programming!
O Lord!
I am really worried about this and as in all things I cry out to you. I lay this load down at your feet.
But first of all, thank you for who you are and what you do.
I praise your name for being the kind of God that is always a heartfelt cry away.
I need your help for your son. Your 5 year old. I am not sure what is up but I think it has to do with the amount of time he is spending watching those children’s programme channels on TV. And then the amount he spends on his PSP. Lord, he is crying out at night and says he dreams of being chased!
Father, help! Show me what needs to be done. I ask you in the name of Jesus Christ, let the Holy Spirit show me what to do. I know the obvious is to restrict his time watching TV but father I cannot even begin to put into words my fears. I simply ask you to take control of his mind and heart.
Holy Spirit of God do all that you alone can do to clear his mind and memory of anything that is causing these nightmares. Let your peace reign in his heart when he is awake and when he is asleep. At night, as he sleeps let the angels you have put in charge of him also be on guard against evil nightmares in Jesus Christ’s name I pray. Amen!
I use my son as a point of contact to all other young children (and indeed older ones) that the influence of TV will not be a negative one. That their minds will be that of Jesus Christ and that their hearts will be kept pure and godly always in Jesus Christ’s name. I cover their minds, souls and bodies in the precious and powerful blood of Jesus Christ. It will separate them from EVERY form of evil. Amen!
Also I use myself as a point of contact to all other mothers out there. May God give us all the wisdom to know how to protect our children from the negative impact of the TV programming and more importantly how to continuously be in prayer for our children. In Jesus Christ name I have prayed to you.

A Prayer of Praise ! Your Children are a Year Older!
Dear Lord and Heavenly Father
How could I ever thank you enough Father? How many mouths would I need to have? A thousand? A million? No. Even that would not be enough.
Lord, it is You, the Sustainer of Life that has kept my 2 reasons for another 366 days. Yes, 2008 was a leap year and you kept them safe in accordance to your promises.
Indeed, it is true Lord. I can testify. You never lie. You never fail. You always come through.
Thank you! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for keeping your son and daughter, the gifts you have given us for another year. Glory and Honour be to you Lord. For I know that it is only you that could have done this. Your son is 15 now and your daughter 12! Wow! Glory to God. I am so grateful.
For another year free of any hospital stay. I praise you
For excellent school reports. I praise you
For safe trips to and from school. I praise you
For safe travels in the air. I praise you
For their eyes, their ears, their limbs, the flow of blood to the hearts.
The way the take in oxygen and breath out carbon di oxide.
In short for all the ways that their bodies function as you decreed it to be.
No, I do not take any of this for granted.

Dear Father in Heaven

Lord, there really is no way I can be like you if you don't help me out.

No, let them plan, let them gather together. All their counsel SHALL come to nothing
For ONLY THE Counsel of the Lord can stand in my life.

Hide us always in your Secret Place where the enemy cannot dare to venture
Cover us with your feathers always
Cover me. Cover my family. By marriage and by blood. Cover my friends
With your Banner of Love. This I ask in Jesus Christ's name! Amen!

For The Missions
Dear Lord of the Harvest
Thank you for all those you have called to be missionaries
Those whom you have sent out of their comfort zones to lands before unknown to them
I thank you for their obedience to you and their courage. And their trust.
To you be all the glory Lord. In Jesus Christ's name. Amen
Lord do not let these mission workers be ashamed.
Keep them safe. Set your angel watch over them.
You are Jehovah Jireh.
Please provide the finances they need to continue your work out there.
Lord, prepare the hearts of the people you have sent them to.
Let the seed they plant find yielding heart-soil.
In Jesus Christ's name. Amen
Father I remember also those of them who have left family behind to do your work.
You are Jehovah Nissi.
Let your banner of Love be over them to protect all their family members.
Your are Jehovah Shalom.
Let your peace reign in their hearts so they will not be anxious for those they have left behind. Trusting you completely to watch over them
Lord, we know the harvest fields are still white and we need more workers in the vineyard. Please call out those who have ordained for this purpose and let them hear you.
And Lord, give us all the grace to realise that even if we are not in the mission fields, where ever we are at the moment is our 'mission field'. Help us to till this field with all we have at our disposal.

Prayers for The MercyPlace Children
Dear Heavenly Father
I thank you for the lives of all the children at the MercyPlace. I thank you for the gift of life that you have given each and everyone of them. I thank you for blessing their earthly parents with these wonderful presents. Glory and Honour be you Lord in Jesus Christ's name. Amen!
Father, you know these children by name and as I pray to you for them
I use them as a point of contact to every child in my own family, the families of my friends and the family of all the children of RCCG.
Dear Lord,
Keep these children. Hide them in Your secret place so that the hand of the enemy can never touch them. Today, the in thing is to kidnap children. In Jesus Christ's name, none of these children will ever be the victim of a kidnap. Amen!
In their going out and their coming in, Lord assign angels to each one of them. That they will be protected from all harm or accidents in the house and out. Our young children sometimes have no sense of danger. Lord , let the angels protect them from themselves in Jesus Christ's name. Amen!
Lord, put your spirit of love in the heart of the caregivers and nannies we have in our homes. Let the mind of Christ be in them so that they will be wise in all that we need them to do in our homes. Let our stories about nannies and helps be different in Jesus name! Amen!
Lord, please hide then under your feathers where no sickness can prevail. Let them be healthy in mind and body. As you have promised, let no sickness come near our dwellings to land on these children in Jesus Name. Amen!
Let these children be made for signs and wonders in their generation O Lord, let your Spirit dwell richly in them and set them apart.
These children, especially the older teens, will have godly friends O Lord. Friends that will be of like minds with them. Not evil friends that will take them way from the path that You have chosen for them.
And finally Lord, help us the parents to walk close to you so that we can bring up your children as you have ordained. Help us not to grieve our children but to bring them up in the fear of the Lord. Help us to be good examples of what true christians are like.
I trust in the character and authority that is in the name of Jesus Christ that all these prayers lifted up here have been answered. Not becos the prayer is good but becos the prayers are based on your Word and are backed my faith.
So it is and so shall it be in Jesus Christ's name. Amen!

I need Restoration!
Dear Lord of all Restoration
I am so glad to have you as my God and my Dad. Thank you for who you are and what you do. For being the Alpha and the Omega. For knowing the end from the beginning. For being Almighty God, King of Heaven. I praise your Holy Name and I appreciate the fact that I can call on you, the great I AM.
Today O Lord, I really need you as the I AM, that is The Restorer. I am not saying that I am not blessed for indeed you have been good to me Lord. It is just that I also sense in my heart that I have lost some of the blessings you planned for my along the way. I feel that I should be somewhere else other than where I am today. But I thank you cos that does not matter. You hold the times in your Hands and can reverse the irreversible. Father in Heaven have mercy on me today and restore unto me:
My lost spiritual connection with you. Take me back to that place where I belong
My lost health and eyesight
My lost opportunities to witness to your people. To win souls.
My lost financial blessings and misspent monies
Lord, all I am asking is that today, as you promised in the Book of Joel, you will restore all that the cankerworm and the locust have stolen from me and my family. Turn again the captivity of my family. Let us be like them that dreamed dreams when we look back at where we are coming from. Let our mouths be filled with laughter and our tongues with singing as we listen and hear the people say
'Indeed the Lord has done great things for them....'
And Yes, Lord, we will be glad.

Help for the Place I Am At
Dear Heavenly Father and ever so merciful God
Its a Sunday and I spent the better part of my morning yelling.
Yes, yelling! Lord, did you ever yell on a Sunday? Nope as far as I know you were chilling. Resting from your work.
And here I was, the woman you created in your own image, yelling.
Yet I thank you cos as I was yelling you put a copy of Joyce Meyer's book in my hands - How to Succeed At Being Yourself'.
You gently spoke to me through it even as I raged on.
'I love you no matter what you do. That will never change so don't feel bad. You can never be perfect like my son Jesus Christ and I appreciate that you are trying but do not be so hard on yourself all the time. Trust me to help you get better. You are on a journey and as long as you hold my hand, you will get there.'
Thank you so much for speaking to me through that book. It could only have been you considering I bought it in June 2006 and apparently never read it! You really are a true friend and I thank you this day, the 8th of March 2009 for being....
