The wind is howling
The storm is raging
Yet in my heart, I have inner peace
Thank you Father, my Jehovah Shalom
The pot is empty
The vat is dry
Yet in my heart, I have inner peace
Thank your Jesus, my Prince of Peace
Life seems so uncertain
What next? What direction?
I don't need to know for sure
For the Holy Spirit, the one who will guide me
Into all things, He is in my heart
Giving me inner peace.
